Soil applied herbicides are specified by a long-lasting efficacy in general. Here our adjuvant Herbosol® can maintain the long-lasting efficacy of soil applied herbicides

Herbosol®  will improve and optimize

  • the distribution of the spray liquid on the soil,
  • the adhesion in the soil,
  • the concentration on the soil surface and upper layer,
  • and less shifting of active incrediants into the soil

 Herbosol® can be applied with 0,4 l/ha in combination with the soil active herbicides in the 3rd post-emerge treatment to achieve better stability and efficacy of the herbicides.

  • The dose rate can be adjusted on light soils and with less humus content to 0,6 l/ha.
  • For heavy soils with high level of humus the dose rate can be reduced to 0,2 l/ha.

Aminosol® - for better crop safety and growth

The application of herbicides and difficult weather conditions (e.g. cold, heat stress, dryness) can cause physiological plant stress.  Aminosol® (amino acids) can help to reduce physiological plant stress. Aminosol® is an organic foliar fertilizer which is consisting of 55% amino acids. With the foliar application of Aminosol®  and a dose rate of 2-3 l/ha crops will be directly fertilized with amino acids. 

Best efficacy will be achieved in combination with the 1st and 2nd post-emerge herbicide application. This will help and support a further growth of the sugar beets.

Foliar fertilization - boron and manganese are essential

Sugar beets are belonging to crops with a high demand for boron. The micro-nutrient boron is essential for growth and the sugar metabolism. Difficult weather conditions (e.g. cold, dry) or high pH-values in the soil can limit the availability of boron and manganese as well. The boron deficiency becomes visible on leaf and beet as called heart and dry rot. Manganese will be also essential for the sugar metabolism and is slowing down the aging process of the leaves. 


For a sufficend supply with the micro’s boron and manganese we recommend one or two applications with Lebosol®-AqueBor SC 2-3 l/ha + Lebosol®-Mangan GOLD SC 1 l/ha between 6 leaf growth stage and row closure.

Phosphorus and potassium are necessary during the early growth stage for the balance of water and energy. If it comes to an undersupply with both micro’s, Lebosol®-PK-Max with a dose rate of 6 l/ha and one or two applications can solve the deficiency.



Magnesium is essential for the development of chlorophyll. Sulphur will be necessary and a part of amino acids. Especially the sulphur metabolism is important fo the plant due to the natural resistance against diseases. Plants wich are affected by a sulphur deficiency are more susceptible for diseases (e.g. powder mildew – Erysiphe betae). A deficiency for magnesium and sulpher can occur during dry weather periods (no mobility in soil) and after strong rain due to shift into the soil.

For sufficient magnesium and sulphur supply we recommend the application of Lebosol®-MagSOFT SC 3-5 l/ha one or two times beginning at the 6 leaf-stage.
