The key to a good foliar fertiliser is developing a product tailored to the plant crop that contains a harmonised composition of the most important nutrients. Our broad product portfolio of special fertilisers covers these requirements and can crucially compensate for a nutrient shortage or deficiency in the soil, such as due to extreme weather.
Nutrients applied to the leaf are quickly absorbed by the plant. However, due to the mechanisms of action of the nutrients, the mechanisms behind this must be taken into account when implementing the fertilizer strategy. It is important to achieve the right balance between the various nutrients for each specific type of plant cultivation.
