What is Lebosol®-Silicon?
Lebosol®-Silicon is a foliar fertiliser based on orthosilicic acid. Even if silicon is already present in the soil, it cannot always be absorbed by the crop plants in sufficient quantities via the roots. As a foliar fertiliser, silicon must be present in the form of orthosilicic acid. Only this form can be absorbed unrestrictedly via the leaf.
How does Lebosol®-Silicon work?
- Increasing the plant's stress tolerance, e.g. during drought.
- Regulation of the water balance - more effective water use, especially in drought conditions
- Stronger root formation and higher root activity
- Strengthening of the plant tissue - leads to shorter internodes and stockier growth, as the cell walls are strengthened - silicon is stored directly here
- Increases the quality of the crop
